Gaslog invests in fleet digitalisation to cut fleet emissions

Vessel Insight will help the ship operator to reduce its environmental footprint, improve emissions reporting and expand digital services by improving Gaslog’s data collection, analysis and utilisation. It provides Gaslog LNG with instant and easy access to fleet overviews, vessel-specific dashboards and analysis tools.
“Our goal is to limit the impact of our operations on the marine environment and minimise our emissions, while making LNG shipping reliable and profitable for our customers,” said Gaslog manager for energy and decarbonisation Marios Sarafidis.
“This contract and partnership with Kongsberg Digital will allow us to innovate and improve the efficiency of our fleet.”
The consistent and standardised way of collecting data through Vessel Insight enables Gaslog’s reporting and indepth analysis to optimise vessel and fleet performance.
“By installing Vessel Insight on the entire fleet, Gaslog will gain better control, as well as greener and more effective operations,” said Kongsberg Digital vice-president for growth in the digital ocean Christopher Bergsager.
