35% growth in unloading and loading of non-oil goods in the western ports of Hormozgan

PMO News Portal – Regarding the comparative performance of Lengeh port and the ports in western Hormozgan (except Kish, Abu Musa, Khamir) within last year, Qasem Askari Nasab stated: The total unloading and loading of oil and non-oil goods, amounted to five million 347 thousand tons and the total unloading and loading of non-oil goods reached 2 million 842 thousand tons, which shows a 35% growth in the non-oil goods sector.
Referring to the 60% growth of non-oil imports with a volume of 113 thousand tons during last year, Director of Ports and Maritime of West of Hormozgan, said: 34% increase in cabotage of non-oil products with a volume of one million and 23 thousand tons was another achievement.
